What is the Experience?
Bring the art of Italy to your home. If you like entertaining and love the Italian food and atmosphere this experience is for you. You select the recipes, invite your friends, enjoy the food, the music and the athmosphere, all Italian like your chef, Raffaela Delmonte.
We help you to select the menu, a three-course meal with aperitivo nibbles.
It can be brunch, lunch or dinner.
You invite 5 friends who would love Italy in your home. You can decide whether transform your home for a night into a Tuscan trattoria or an elegant restaurant in Rome. You can also enjoy our wide selection of Italian music.
We bring all the ingredients, knives and pots. You allow us to use your kitchen and your equipment.
We cook, prepare the table, serve the food and do the clean up.
On request we can provide Italian wine.
Menu Ideas:
Aperitivo nibbles
- Selection of focaccias
- Bresaola - beef prosciutto
- Grana padano cheese with balsamico sauce
Antipasto
- Torta salata: Fresh tomato and Mozzarella cheese savoury tarte
- Raffaela's garden salad (radicchio, lollo lettuce, wild rocket, calendula and nasturtium flowers..)
Main course
Garganelli egg pasta with Italian sausages cooked in Chianti wine and fennel seed
OR
Raibow tagliatelle with lamb ragu'
OR
Autumn risotto with porcini mushrooms and Dolcetto wine
Dessert
Cassata Siciliana served with limoncello Liquor
OR
Tiramisu' served with Marsala Liquor
OR
Pears, Grappa Liquor and fresh pepper tarte.
Venue:
At your home or a friend’s within the Auckland area.
Session Length
Available on request. Vegetarian menu also available. Standard duration 3 hours. Chef arrives beforehand for preparation.
